Grant Writing Workshop to be Held in Presque Isle
As organizations across The County and throughout the nation struggle to find resources to implement their work plan in a challenging economy, two local non-profit organizations are partnering to present an informational session they hope will help.
TAMC and the Presque Isle Historical Society will offer a grant writing workshop open to volunteers and staff of area non-profit organizations, as well as interested members of the general public. The half-day program is planned for Saturday, January 18, from 8:30 a.m. until noon in the McCain Conference rooms at TAMC’s A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital in Presque Isle.
The workshop will cover such topics as the layout of sound grant proposals, methods to identify and research potential grantors, tips for winning grants, the correct way to write goals and objectives for grant proposals, and how to prepare an evaluation plan.
The cost of the workshop is $49.00 per person. Advance reservations are required. Workshop fees should be sent to the Presque Isle Historical Society at PO Box 285, Presque Isle, ME 04769.
