Grand Manan Crash Victim Identified
The victim of a weekend car crash in Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick has been identified.
Officials say 17-year-old Danielle Park teen was killed Sunday evening when the mini-van she was a passenger in crashed on Whistle Road.
Two other boys and two girls, all aged 14 to 17, were injured.
Park graduated as the Valedictorian of the 2014 graduating class at Grand Manan Community School just last month. She was to play for Mount Allison University’s basketball team this fall.
Park’s funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at the school.
The RCMP is continuing to investigate.
