The west coast trip to Canada has not been a good one so far for the Boston Bruins who dropped their second game on the trip 5-4 to Calgary in overtime.

Boston lost their first game of the trip on Wednesday in a game that also went to overtime before Edmonton won it in a shootout.

It appeared the Bruins were on their way to a win after Brad Marchand scored on a penalty shot with under two minutes to play. However the Flames were able to tie the game on a goal by Jiri Hudler with 1.2 seconds to go in regulation.

In overtime it was a former Bruin and BC Eagle that beat the Bruins. Dougie Hamilton who Boston traded to Calgary in the off season left a pass for the trailing Johnny Gaudreau who drove it past Tuukka Rask for the game winner.

Boston will try to take the final game of the trip when they play the Canucks in Vancouver tonight.
