Gathering of the Scots is This Weekend in Perth!

Grab the kilt and the horse; paint your face blue and start screaming about freedom.  If Mel Gibson’s portrayal of William Wallace is what pops in your head when you think about Scotland, you need to get out more.  A perfect opportunity to learn more about Scottish life and to revel in it is coming up this weekend in Perth Andover, New Brunswick.

The Gathering of the Scots happens every year and brings together a slew of events that celebrate the homeland, including highland games, music, workshops and food.  Catch the Picaroon’s Kay lee at the Castle Inn on Friday night with the band ’10 Strings and a Goat Skin’ from Prince Edward Island.
