Garth Brooks has shattered his own previous record for first-day ticket sales in Buffalo.

Tickets went on sale Friday (Dec. 5) for his upcoming run at the First Niagara Center, which encompasses six shows from March 6-8, 2015. Brooks sold 90, 533 tickets on the first day of sales, surpassing his previous best in that market, which he set when he last performed there from Sept. 23-28, 1998.

The country superstar has sold more than a million tickets to his massive comeback world tour in just over four months.

The tour marks Brooks' return to the concert stage after a long period of self-imposed retirement while he raised his kids. He recently released his first full new studio album in 13 years, 'Man Against Machine.' The project's second single, 'Mom,' is currently at country radio.
