Wintergreen Arts Center’s fourth annual CHAIR-ity event—Repurposing with a Purpose—begins Friday, November 2, with an opening reception to be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm during the First Friday Art Walk.

“This year, we are putting a new twist on our CHAIR-ity event by expanding the genre of items to be repurposed,” said Kara Addington, Wintergreen’s center manager, who is heading up the event.  “From old kitchenware to well-used furniture and our traditional chairs, local artisans are turning discarded objects into beautiful, artful collectibles.”
