Fort Fairfield Police Search for Stolen Vehicle

UPDATE: The Fort Fairfield Police Department  says a vehicle that was stolen in the downtown area last weekend has been recovered in Presque Isle.

Police were looking for a red 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Maine registration 5856TQ.  Fort Fairfield Police Chief Bill Campbell said the vehicle was stolen from the Church Street area sometime around 8:00 a.m. Sunday, March 30.

The owner told police that the car was unlocked and the keys were left inside.
