Over 80 craft breweries are now operating in Maine.  Hundreds of unique and delicious beers are being produced right here in our great state and we’re bringing them to you!

In 2009 a group of beer lovers put together what is now known as the Maine Beer Trail.  We followed this map to find many of the great brews we will be offering at Taste the North.  If you have ever done a bar crawl this is the probably the biggest one you could ever do and it definitely can’t be done in one day.

The Maine Brewer’s Guild created the map and they reward people that visit these brewers.  You can click here (http://mainebrewersguild.org/maine-beer-trail/) to download the map.  When you visit each brewery make sure you get their signature and date.  Once you have completed a trail you can send it in to the Maine Brewer’s Guild to receive a prize pack.

Now if you don’t want to spend the gas money and want to just taste their great beer you won’t want to miss Taste the North Craft Beer & Food Festival on April 21st at the Presque Isle Forum.  There you will find over 100 different flavors of beer from all across Maine.  Yes we said over 100 different beers, wines and ciders all made in Maine!  Even if the brewers themselves can’t be at the event we have made sure their beer will still be offered.

Come taste the Maine Beer Trail at Taste the North Craft Beer & Food Festival!  Get your tickets here today.  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/taste-the-north-craft-beer-food-festival-tickets-41310060503. If beer isn’t your favorite thing to taste don’t forget we are also a Maine food festival!
