Fire Damages Fredericton Home

Fire crews in the city of Fredericton had a busy morning, battling a structure fire at a home the city's North Side.

Officials with the Fredericton Fire Department say that crews were called to a split-level home at 111 Ashfield Street at around 8 a.m. after reports of a fire that apparently started in the kitchen's stove.

The Fredericton Fire Department's Electrical Inspector was called in to investigate the exact cause of the fire.
