The Codiac RCMP is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision on Champlain Road in Dieppe, N.B., on Sunday.

Police received a call about the crash shortly after 4:30 p.m.  A 29-year-old man from Dieppe, N.B. was taken to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. The crash is believed to have occurred when his motorcycle rear ended a vehicle that was stopped to make a left turn, according to the RCMP. The driver and passenger of the car were not injured.

Police say, an RCMP collision reconstructionist attended. The investigation to determine the cause of the crash is continuing.
