A 20-year-old Mars Hill man is still recovering in Portland hospital after a vehicle accident in Presque Isle several weeks ago.

Brandon Anthony was seriously injured on April 24th when his 2008 Ford Taurus collided head on with a 2012 Toyota Camry on the Houlton Road. The Camry was driven by 37-year-old Michele Kenney of Houlton.

Both drivers were transported by Crown Ambulance to The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. Kenney suffered a broken ankle.

Anthony was then airlifted to Bangor where they found he had broken his neck, shoulder, nose and several other injuries. With his family by his side, it seemed as if this tragic accident wasn't as bad as it could have been. Then he suffered a stroke and clot was found in his brain. He was airlifted again, this time to Portland. There he had surgery to remove the clot. They have now found another clot.

Every day has been a struggle for Brandon and his family. The hospital is far from their home and with 4 other younger siblings and his parents, the cost of staying there is overwhelming.
A fundraising site has been set up in Brandon Anthony's name. If you can help in any way, it would surely help this family. Any little bit will help.

There has also been a Facebook Page set up. To follow Brandon's progress, click Prayers for Brandon Anthony.
