As I was scrolling my Facebook feed on Sunday night I saw a status from a friend that just said, "Harry Potter". The words were bolded, red, and in larger font than regular Facebook statuses.

Since I know she's a massive Harry Potter fan, I didn't think much of it, but then she followed it up with several comments on her own status of Harry Potter related words.

Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, all the houses of Hogwarts. The words were bolded and in color.

In true Harry Potter style, these words aren't just words, they're magic. Facebook introduced these Harry Potter Easter Eggs to celebrate 20 years of Harry Potter. When you post about Harry Potter, or anything related, you're given a little surprise on your screen. After posting, you can click on the words to see the surprise again.

As far as I can tell, the Easter Egg only works on computers and not on mobile devices. Still, it's worth dragging out the ol' desktop to see the fun animations on your screen.

Happy 20 years to all my Harry Potter-heads!
