Eric Church announced his final eight shows of the 2017 on Monday morning (May 1). After taking a long break, the singer will return to the stage in September.

With one exception, Church will wrap up touring after back-to-back Holdin' My Own Tour stops in Nashville on May 26-27. He'll return in September, with eight new shows slated in Nevada, Texas, Alabama and New Hampshire. He'll finish at the Route 91 Festival in Las Vegas on Oct. 29.

For these new shows, Church will not be holding his own. Expect opening acts Brothers Osborne and Ashley McBryde to join him in Tuscaloosa and Orange Beach, Ala. Opening acts for the other six dates will be announced soon.

The 62-stop Holdin' My Own Tour featured Church with no opening act. He played nearly three dozen songs over three hours for fans during an exhaustive night of music. The tour was also notable for his anti-scalping measures. That's something the "Round Here Buzz" singer will continue, as he's partnered with Ticketmaster to root out bots.
