The top-seed Easton Bears avoided another Cross Center upset on Thursday night, holding on to a 52-48 overtime win over the Washburn Beavers in the Class D North Semifinals.

92.9 The Ticket reports the Beavers trailed for most of the game, but were able to knot it up 45 at the end of regulation after a back-and-forth fourth quarter.

Senior guard Logan Halverson led the Bears with 16 points. Drew Sotomayor added 14 and Jordan Doody added 12.

For the Beavers, senior guard Noah Caron had 19 points.

Easton will play the Southern Aroostook Warriors of Dyer Brook in the Northern Maine final at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
