In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, Dustin Lynch has announced a benefit concert to raise money to help those in need. The show is scheduled to take place in Dallas, one of the cities to which many of those in the hurricane's path evacuated, on Sept. 12.

Lynch decided to plan his Hurricane Harvey benefit concert after he visited a shelter housing evacuees and saw firsthand what an effect the storm has had on people.

"The spirit of Texas, and of country music, is to help your neighbor -- to pitch in when others are struggling,” says Lynch in a press release. “So many people have stepped up to lend a hand to those affected by this storm, and I’m proud to do my small part to support the citizens of Houston and surrounding communities. After visiting the storm shelter and meeting people whose lives have changed forever, the least I can do is come back to Dallas and try to raise spirits."

Tickets for Lynch's Hurricane Harvey benefit concert are $10 and are available now through the websites of radio stations KPLX and KSCS; tickets will also be available at the door, and the first 500 people at the show will receive a copy of Lynch's upcoming new album, Current Mood. All of the money earned from the show will be given to the Red Cross.
