Driver Dies After Car Jumps Embankment in Moncton
A 37-year-old man from Shediac is dead following a two-vehicle collision Saturday morning in Moncton.
RCMP say that shortly before 11 a.m., a car went off the Trans-Canada Highway and went over the embankment onto Shediac Road, where the car collided with another car.
The driver of the first car died from his injuries, according to Corporal Peter McLean. The driver of the second car sustained minor injuries in the crash. There were no passengers in either vehicle at the time, McLean said.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
