For the first time in 10 years, the Dixie Chicks are heading to Australia. The iconic trio will make their return for a series of headlining dates in 2017.

Kicking off their stint down under with the famed CMC Rocks QLD Festival Mar. 24-26, the Dixie Chicks will visit four cites in Australia through the spring, including Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The trio will also make a final stop in New Zealand before coming home to the States.

The Australian dates will further expand the Dixie Chick's DCX MMXVI World Tour, which began Apr. 16 in Belgium, and has already canvassed Europe and North America. This marks the fifth headlining tour for Natalie MainesMartie Maguire and Emily Robison, who have recorded seven studio albums and won countless awards (including a whopping 13 Grammys!) during their prolific career as a band.

The DCX MMXVI World Tour is the first tour for the Dixie Chick's since 2013's Long Time Gone Tour and it's been meet with a hugely positive response. Following rapid ticket sales and sold-out concerts, the trio was pushed to expand their North American tour in 2016, adding dates due to high demand. With the addition of the 2017 Australian tour dates, the Dixie Chicks will take over one more continent on their world tour.
