Death of Man in Northern New Brunswick Treated as a Homicide
The RCMP's Major Crime Unit is treating the death of a 77-year-old man in northern New Brunswick as a homicide, police said in a statement Tuesday.
Police were called to a residence on Restigouche River Road in Dawsonville shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. New Brunswick RCMP say the body of Emerson Main was found inside his home.
The results of an autopsy have led police to believe Main's death is a homicide. There have been no arrests made at this time, according to spokesperson Cst. Jullie Rogers-Marsh.
