Dan + Shay Perform ‘Nothin’ Like You’, ‘From the Ground Up’ at 2016 ACC Awards

Dan + Shay contributed a touching moment at the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards, performing a snippet of "Nothin' Like You" and then segueing right into "From the Ground Up."

The pair kept things simple, especially on the second song, a heartfelt tune inspired by their grandparents. There were no flashy stage moves or gestures, just acoustic guitars and sincere vocal performances, both of which amplified the tune's message of enduring love.

Prior to the performance, presenters Maddie & Tae directed fellow presenter Scotty McCreery to pluck two big Dan + Shay fans from the audience to sit onstage and watch the performance, since "this show really is about incredible fans!" The chosen girls were clearly thrilled to be there, and they sang along and giggled in delight as the musicians walked past them during the performance.
