Curacao has won the Latin America Senior League regional and Italy is Europe-Africa regional winner. Both teams come to Bangor next month for the Senior League World Series.

The international field for the SLWS at Mansfield Stadium is almost set, only the Canadian championship is to be decided - on July 29th.

Curacao(Willemstad League) went 3-0 in its pool at the Latin America regional held in Puerto Rico. Curacao then defeated Venezuela 14-2 in the semi-final and then beat El Salvador 1-0 in the championship game.

Italy(Lazio League) went undefeated in its Europe-Africa regional at 5-0, beating Belgium in the championship game 9-4.

The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands is Asia-Pacific champ.
