Boston Celtics second year guard Marcus Smart has been selected to play the NBA 'Rising Stars' Game during All Star Weekend next month.

While Isaiah Thomas really wants to be picked as a reserve for the East allstar squad and Kelly Olynyk really wants to be picked for the 3-point shooting contest, Smart is the one Celtic that is going to allstar weekend for sure right now.

Smart play for the U.S. team made up of first and second year NBA players. They will take on team made up of NBA players from around the world.

Smart is averaging nine points a game, along with 4.5 rebounds, three assists and almost two steals per game.
