UMaine sophomore pitcher Justin Courtney has faced the ACC's Clemson Tigers and the Sun Belt's New Mexico State but tonight might be the tougher task yet - the #6 ranked UMiami Hurricanes.

The 'Canes are 9-2 and riding a four game winning streak.

The Black Bears lost to St. Bonaventure 9-2 yesterday and are in the midst of a four game losing skid.

Courtney(Bangor HS) has been Maine's best pitcher. He faced Clemson in the season opener and got a no decision after throwing five innings, no earned runs and eight strikeouts.

He followed that up with seven win against New Mexico State, allowing just one run and scattering seven hits.

This UMiami team is hitting .292 while holding opponents to just a .212 average.

The 6pm game is the only time the Bears and 'Canes meet this year.
