Did you know that on this day in Country Music History in 1979 Willie Nelson made his film debut?

It's true! It was with the opening of "The Electric Horseman." It also starred Robert Redford and Jane Fonda. It included Nelson's hits "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys" and "Midnight Rider."
