Did you know that on this day in Country Music History in 2006 Jennifer Nettles made her TV acting debut on NBC's "Las Vegas?"

It's true!  During the episode, Sugarland performed "Something More," "Just Might Make Me Believe" and "Down In Mississippi (Up To No Good)," its lyrics changed to "down in Las Vegas"!

  • She studied Sociology and Anthropology at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, and graduated in 1997.
  • Her son Magnus Hamilton Miller, was born in December 2012.
  • She has lent her time and talent to support various non-profit organizations. In 2007, one dollar from every ticket sold during Sugarland's CMT Change For Change tour was donated to the Shalom Foundation. More than $120,000 was raised in 2007.
