Council Candidates’ Forum to be Held

The Presque Isle City Council Chambers will be the location for the traditional City Council Candidates’ Forum.

The forum is being held at 4:45 Monday October 17.  Prior to a workshop planned for the Presque Isle City Council, the 5 Candidates for Presque Isle City Council will be given the opportunity to identify themselves and share their vision for the future of Presque Isle.

The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce is collecting questions from the general public regarding areas of concern. The candidates will be given this opportunity to respond to some of the citizens’ concerns.

Due to the number of candidates involved the forum is required to start earlier than normal.

Candidates for 2 three-year terms on the City Council are: Eugene Cronin, Kevin Freeman, Donald Gardner, Jacqueline Goodine and Craig Green.
