Caribou’s Farm of Hope Is Pouring Concrete and Getting Cottages Built [VIDEO]
The Dahlgren Skidgel Farm of Hope in Caribou is making huge progress on their cottage project, with help from people and donors in the community.
This week, Dave Tardy and his crew from Loring Job Corps were pouring another slab of concrete, provided by Trombley Industries in Limestone, that will help to house homeless veterans in Aroostook County.
Many businesses throughout the community have donated time and materials to make the farm a reality.
Norm, a retired veteran, has been overseeing the placement of trusses on one cabin that is already standing, while Dave Trudy poured another slab.
Check out this short video below to see where they are in the process.
