Car Crashes into Eagle Lake Apartment Unit [PHOTO]

A 38-year-old Eagle Lake woman crashed into an apartment building Saturday afternoon on Convent Road in Eagle Lake.

Sarah Parlin was getting a package from her mailbox when her foot slipped off the brake and hit the accelerator, according to Deputy Sheriff Reid Clark. The Impala crashed into one of the units in the apartment building complex. No one was inside the residence at the time, said Sheriff Darrell O. Crandall.

Parlin was not injured and was alone in the 2005 Chevy, the Aroostook County Sheriff's Office said.
