Car Crash Kills One Teen, Injures Four Others in Grand Manan, N.B.

The West District RCMP are investigating the crash that occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday  that killed a 17-year-old girl and injured four others in a single vehicle crash on Whistle Road in Grand Manan, New Brunswick.

The girl, a passenger of the mini-van that crashed, died at the scene. Four other teenagers, two girls and two boys between 14 and 17 years of age were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

All five teens are from Grand Manan.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting in the investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
