Cam fans in Wichita, Kan., will have to see the singer the next time she comes to town. The country up-and-comer was forced to bow out of her appearance at the city's InTrust Bank Arena on Thursday night (Feb. 25), as part of Brad Paisley's Crushin' It World Tour, due to the flu.

"Dear Wichita, I'm sick with the flu & a high fever and can't perform tonight," Cam wrote on Twitter on Thursday evening. "I am so incredibly sorry!!!! Love you all."

Concertgoers still got to see Paisley and Eric Paslay, however. Paslay is also opening for Paisley on his current tour.

Cam has a few-weeks-long break from the road coming up, but before then, she is scheduled to play two more shows with Paisley, on Friday (Feb. 26) in Springfield, Mo., and on Saturday (Feb. 27) in Tulsa, Okla. She is also scheduled to headline a concert in Ames, Iowa, on Sunday (Feb. 28). There is no word yet on whether or not those dates will be affected by her illness, but on Friday morning, the artist shared a photo of her dog stretched out on a bed, captioned "My faithful nurse."

Following the success of her debut single, "Burning House," Cam has released "Mayday" as her second single. In April, she will perform at the 2016 ACM Awards. She is nominated at the awards show for New Female Vocalist of the Year, Video of the Year, Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
