Calais, WA Will Play For V-Ball State Title

It will be an all-downeast state championship final in high school Class B volleyball. Top ranked Calais and #3 Washington Academy scored semi-final wins on Wednesday.

Calais defeated Ellsworth 3-0, while WA beat Machias 3-2.

In Class A, Scarborough knocked off defending champ and #1 seed Cape Elizabeth 3-1. Greely won over Falmouth 3-0.

The Class B state championship takes place Saturday at MDI High School.

The Class A title match is Saturday at South Portland HS.
