Caribou Police say 26-year-old David Pelletier was arrested Friday evening in Presque Isle on several outstanding warrants.

On August 19, the Caribou Police Department made an appeal to the public for information on Pelletier's whereabouts, as they believed him to be hiding in the area. He had previously been indicted in connection with residential burglaries in the Washburn-Wade area.

Presque Isle Police apprehended Pelletier early Friday evening.  He was being held at the Caribou Police Department Saturday and was expected to be transported to the Aroostook County Jail.  He is to be arraigned next week.

The Caribou Police Department thanked community members for their help in locating the suspect.
