Boston Bruins forward Loui Eriksson is a finalist for the NHL Lady Byng Trophy. This award goes to the best NHL player combining scoring points and staying out of the penalty box.

Eriksson, LA's Anze Kopitar  and Florida's Aleksander Barkov are the finalists. The winner will be announced in June.

Eriksson had 30 goals and 33 assists for the B's. He spent just 12 minutes in the penalty box.

He is also an unrestricked free agent and is likely not returning to Boston.

By the way, the last Bruin to win the Lady Byng Trophy - Rick Middleton back in 1981-82.

NOTE: The Bruins had no luck in the NHL Draft lottery Saturday night. The B's will pick 14th which is where the finished among team with the most points in the standings but not in the playoffs...
