The Boston Bruins suffered their first road loss of the year, losing to the Washington Caps 4-1 last night. Bad penalties in the second period by the B's and the Caps made them pay for them.

Jimmy Hayes got Boston's goal to give the B's a 1-0 and Caps goalie Braden Holtby stopped all other 27 shots.

Alex Ovechkin score the game tying goal and the two second period goals by Washington changed everything in the game.

Tuukka Rask made 28 saves for Boston.

The B's are 6-5-1 and play in Montreal Saturday night. That game can be heard live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
