The Boston Bruins have been eliminated from the NHL playoffs for a second straight year. The B's lost their most important game of the year 6-1, without the services of goalie Tuukka Rask who didn't play because of illness. The Philadelphia Flyers beat Pittsburgh 3-1.

That means Philly and Detroit get the final two playoff spots in the east.

The Bruins scored the first goal of the game and then Ottawa scored six unanswered goals.

To make matters worse, the Detroit Red wins lost their game to the Rangers 3-2. If the Bruins had won. They would have been the #3 team in the division and would be in the playoffs.
