Boston Bruins forward Jimmy Hayes entered Sunday afternoon's game against Tampa Bay not having scored a goal in nine months. In fact, he had zero points in 19 games this season. And then it happened.

Late in the second period, Hayes deflected a shot past former UMaine goalie Ben Bishop to help give the B's a much needed 4-1 win.

The Bruins had lost three straight games.

David Pastrnak, the anti-Hayes, scored another goal. He now has 13 goals in 17 games.

Dominic Moore and David Backes scored the other goals.

Meanwhile, Tuukka Rask made 30 saves. Bishop made 26 saves.

The B's are 13-10. Bishop and the Lightning at 13-9-1.
