Bruins Say Pastrnak Has Foot Fracture
The Boston Bruins now say their young standout forward David Pastrnak has small, non-displaced crack in his foot and his return to action is pushed back.
Pastrnak hurt the foot in a game against Arizona 15 days ago. He played in the next two games but has missed the last four.
Initial x-rays showed the foot was normal but follow up tests revealed the small bone break.
21-year-old Frank Vatrano, a local Boston kid, has played well in Pastrnak's spot in the lineup.
