Brothers Osborne have shared a new, highly adorable, love song from their upcoming album release, Port Saint Joe. Readers can press play above to hear the full song.

"Pushing Up Daises (Love Alive)" is all about loving your partner and committing to them until the absolute end. The brothers sing about their never ending love, "We'll go on till we're pushing up daisies / Grow old and wise and I'll still be calling you baby / We'll never get enough, we'll be living it up right down till the day we die / Oh we ain't getting out of this love alive."

While the sentiment sounds sweet, in a recent interview with the Boot, John Osborne (one half of the duo) said that he initially assumed the lyrics would go in a very different -- and much darker -- direction. "We wrote the song with Kendall Marvel, and he came to us with the idea of a song called 'We Ain't Getting Out of This Love Alive,'" he recalls. Osborne assumed Marvel was talking about a tumultuous relationship, with both people constantly on the brink of killing each other.

"[Marvel] goes, 'No, that's not it at all, it's that the relationship is so amazing that the only thing that can separate you is death," Osborne goes on to say, laughing.

Brothers Osborne released "Shoot Me Straight" in January as the first single from Port Saint Joe. Port Saint Joe will be released on April 20, but "Pushing Up Daises (Love Alive)" is available for purchase now.
