The Hampden Broncos home winning streak is now 53 consecutive games after a 59-32 win over Mt. Blue this afternoon. The Cougars were the last team to beat the Broncos at home - and that was six years ago on this very day.

But today, Hampden broke open a close game in the second half. Jake Black scored 11 an Nick Chasse added 10 in a balanced attack. The win makes the Broncos 12-0. Mt. Blue is 1-10.

The girl's game came down a final shot at the buzzer. The three point try by Mt. Blue was short and Hampden hung on for a  45-42 win.

Sophomore Peyton Smith came off the bench to lead the Broncos with 13 points, 8 of them in the fourth quarter.

Hampden is now 8-4. Mt. Blue falls to 3-7.
