The Voice hopeful Brennley Brown saved herself from elimination on Tuesday (April 18) with an exquisite performance of Maddie & Tae's "Fly."

Dressed in a beautiful, floor-length, white-lace gown and flower crown to match, Brown, a member of team Gwen Stefani, offered a poignant performance of the empowering song with guitar in hand. The young singer presented the song in a softer fashion than the duo does with a beautiful acoustic rendition. It's the type of song that could be a natural fit for Brown to sing as a recording artist, belting out a couple strong notes throughout the song that prove her strength as a vocalist.

America clearly agreed with Brown's song choice and the way she handled it, voting her into the Top 12. She and fellow contestant Lauren Duski are the lone two singers representing the country genre for the rest of Season 12. Duski propelled herself into the next round with her stunning staging of Bryan White's "Someone Else's Star" on Monday (April 17).

"Fly" serves as the second single off of Maddie & Tae's debut album, Start Here, breaking the Top 10 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts in 2015. With its message of empowerment and lyrics like "So keep on climbing, though the ground might shake / Just keep on reaching though the limb might break / We've come this far, don't you be scared now / 'Cause you can learn to fly on the way down," it's no wonder Brown selected it to prove herself on the singing show.

The Top 12 performances begin on Monday (April 24). The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday nights at 8PM ET on NBC.
