Police say someone broke into a cottage on the West River Road in Morrell Siding, New Brunswick overnight between January 23 and 24. Fourteen new white windows and two new black doors, which had recently been installed were removed and stolen, according to Corporal Tony Dunphy of the Grand Falls Detachment.

A bathtub/shower unit, a new toilet in its box, and tools were also stolen.  It’s believed that a pick-up truck or similar-sized vehicle was used in the theft.

Police are asking anyone with information about the break and enter or the stolen items, or who may have seen someone in the area transporting items resembling the stolen goods, to call the Grand Falls RCMP at 506-473-3137.
