New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady is up for some hardware next week as he was nominated for the 2016 Best NFL Player at the ESPY's.

Brady previously won the award in 2008.  The New England QB will be against JJ Watt, Cam Newton, Antonio Brown, and Julio Jones.  Last season Aaron Rodgers took home the prize, while Rob Gronkowski took the Comeback Player of the Year, and Super Bowl 49 won Game of the Year.

Brady had 36 touchdowns for 4,770 yards while only having seven interceptions.  He played the entire 2015 season with the cloud of 'deflategate' and faces a four game suspension to start the 2016 season.

The nomination of Brady was the only one for the Patriots after earning five a year ago.  Voting is open to the public on ESPN.com and is available until July 13th at 8 p.m.

You can hear the ESPY's can be heard live on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket on July 13th with the pre-event show starting at 6 p.m.
