Boy Killed in Collision at Fredericton Intersection
A 14-year-old boy has died after he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle Wednesday evening on Fredericton's north side.
Fredericton Police responded to the intersection of the Marysville Bypass at Greenwood Drive around 7:30 p.m., according to the CBC.
The teen was taken to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, where he passed away from his injuries.
That section of Greenwood Drive was closed to traffic until close to midnight.
The Fredericton Police Force is investigating the collision and is asking anyone with information that may be helpful to contact them. There have been no criminal charges laid against the driver.
