Body of Missing Mapleton Man Discovered

The state police have stopped looking for the missing Mapleton hunter, Mark Brazier. His body was discovered by a friend of his in the woods at about 9:30 p.m. on Monday night.

Brazier was reported missing by his family after he left for a hunting trip on Sunday but never returned.

The Maine Warden Service and Maine State Police are thanking the public for their assistance. Police officers have notified Brazier’s family.
