Black Bears Post Season Begins Thursday

UMaine baseball dropped the regular season finale to UAlbany 6-1 and now it is on to the American East Conference playoffs.

The Black Bears finish with a 10-10 conference record and a 24-26 overall mark.

When the tournament begins Thursday in Lowell, Massachusetts the Bears will be the #3 seed and take on #2 UMBC at 5pm.

Maine and UMBC played back on April 25th and 26th. The Bears won the first game in 12 innings 6-5, then dropped two close ones 3-2 and 6-3.
