Former UMaine goalie Ben Bishop kept his Tampa Bay Lightning in game one of the NHL Eastern Finals but with just 2:25 left in the game the New York Rangers scored to break the 1-1 tie. The blueshirts win the first game of the best-of-seven series 2-1.

Bishop dueled Henrik Lundqvist all day. Bishop finished with 28 saves, Lundqvist with 23.

Game two is Monday night.
