Benefit Dinner to be Held in Houlton for Joe Hoskins Jr.

Neighbors helping neighbors is what people living in Aroostook County are all about. And the time is now to help out if you can.

There will be a benefit spaghetti dinner and Dance on Saturday, November 15th for Joe Hoskins Jr.

Recently Joe was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He will need to travel to Bangor for Chemo therapy and radiation treatments. He will also have to travel to Boston to have the cancerous tumor removed.

His family and friends at the American Legion in Houlton are planning this benefit supper and dance to help with travel expenses during his treatment.

The spaghetti dinner will be held on Saturday, November 15th at the American Legion on Bangor Street in Houlton from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The dance portion of the evening will run from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with music provided by Bob and Kathy Collins.There will also be raffles, a 50-50 draw and door prizes.

Donations accepted at the door for both the dinner and dance. Help out if you can!
