It was a night when the offense seemed to have momentum from the drop of the puck, momentum that carried the Boston Bruins to a 4-1 road win at Carolina.

Matt Beleskey had the hot hand of the night by scoring two goals, his 12th and 13th of the season. His first goal came in the first period 2:12 after Patrice Bergeron had staked the Bruins to a 1-0 lead.

With Boston leading 2-1 in the third period Beleskey took a pass from Ryan Spooner and shot it past Cam Ward for his second of the night. Brad Marchad would cap the scoring with his 32nd goal of the season, an empty netter with :14 seconds left in the game.

Tuukka Rask stopped 39 shots for his 24th win of the season and will head back to Boston with his team in a tie for fourth place in the conference with Tampa Bay. Sunday the Bruins will play the Lightning at the Garden and you can hear it live at 6pm on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
