A year ago the Richmond Spiders came north as a top-10 nationally ranked team and the UMaine Black Bears sent them back home with a 33-20 loss. What about this year?

Today's game is down in Virginia, at Robins Stadium. The numbers show that no matter where this game is played in recent years, Maine has done well. The Bears have three straight wins and seven wins in the last 10 games.

Here are some of the other numbers to consider...

*  Maine(1-2, 1-0) is 7-3 on the road in CAA games over the last 10 games

*  Richmond(2-1, 0-0) is coming off a bye week and two straight wins

*  The Black Bears are not ranked but the Spiders are #19 or #20 nationally, depending on which poll you look at

*  Richmond is 2nd in the CAA is points scored. Richmond is also 2nd in the CAA in points allowed.

*  UMaine receiver Micah Wright has back-to-back 100 yards receiving games. 107 vs Tulane, 139 vs URI
