After a thrilling win at the buzzer on Saturday the Husson men's basketball team had no magic against Bates who beat the Eagles 93-74 in the Naismith Classic Championship. This is the second time the Bobcats have posted a win against the Eagles this season as they got a victory back in early December when the two met in Lewiston.

Bates grabbed an early lead in this one and took a 10 point lead into the locker room at halftime. While Husson was able to put up points in this game, they never could find an answer on the defensive end of the floor.

The 7-5 Bobcats were led by Mike Boornazian and Shawn Strickland who each scored 17 points.

Husson was led by Raheem Anderson who had 21 points while Trevon Butler added 20. The Eagles drop to 6-3 on the season and swing back to conference play Saturday when they travel to Maine Maritime Academy.
