For the second time this season the Bangor and Messalonskee hockey teams settled for an overtime tie and once again it took a goal in the final seconds to make it happen.Brandon Nale's goal with just :21 seconds left evened the score at 5-5 which would be the final score after the 8-minute sudden death overtime period. Nale's goal from the right wing caught a piece of a Bangor defenseman's arm before getting past goaltender Zach Alden.

The game tying goal came after Bangor's Trevor DeLaite put the Rams ahead with his second goal of the game with just 5:12 to play. When the two teams met in December it was DeLaite who scored the game tying goal with :14 seconds left.

Other top performers on the night included the Rams Nick Cowperthwaite who had 2 goals and an assist while Jack Moore had 2 goals for the Eagles.

With the tie Bangor is now 6-4-2 on the season while Messalonskee goes to 7-3-2.
